Marathon Runners

Running – The Abdi Bile Academy’s Running Program is geared to get youth motivated and moving as well as adults. Program participants are informed on the proper diet (for energy), pacing, and training so that they will enjoy running with low risk of injury.  We meet the students where they are and work with them in our six-part program which takes them from their first steps to stepping up for their first race. The six-part program consists of:

  1. Part 1:  Get Motivated (learn the correct gear)

    1. Plan

    2. Keep it regular

    3. Reward yourself

    4. Build a support system

  2. Part 2: Get Moving

    1. Establish an initial goal workout

    2. Increase goal workouts

    3. Part 3: Start Running

  3. Part 4: Run Non-Stop

  4. Part 5: Run Longer

  5. Part 6: Get Faster

The Junior and the Elite Running Program- is geared toward producing more ambitious advanced athletes aiming for college level and beyond.
